Hello! What an amazing weekend in Melbourne. It was our first time in the city and thank you to everyone who came out to see us! It was a privilege to speak with so many expecting parents and be a part of the magic that is pregnancy.
On Sunday night, when my head finally hit the pillow, I replayed so many of the conversations I’d had especially with new parents. What stood out most was the hesitation around the size of our stroller and the sense of being overwhelmed, not knowing where to start when it comes to choosing the right one.
To be honest, it made me feel a little sad because I know how much pressure parents already carry. But then it struck me: I’m in a position to help. I can take that confusion and break it down, making the decision clearer and less daunting.
Pronto was born to be an all‑in‑one solution for families looking for one stroller, forever. But that doesn’t mean it’s the perfect fit for every family. This blog aims to break it down so you can make a more informed choice when shopping for your family.
Comparing Pronto with Australia’s best‑selling pram
Pronto is in the same weight and width class as Australia’s best-selling pram, the Vista V3 but we’re taller too! How? While our design looks lower because of the wagon-style cabin, our handlebars are higher and fully adjustable, making Pronto a dream for taller parents. We hear time and again from parents who used to kick the undercarriage of their old stroller that it’s now a distant memory. At the same time, the extra length is used to create a larger, more practical cabin for kids without sacrificing doorway clearance or portability. Let’s unpack the evidence.

Folded (without wheels): 98 × 58 × 25 cm
In use (unfolded): 120 × 68 × 115 cm
True weight: 15.3 kg
Max weight limit: 100 kg
Uppababy v3 is heavier when comparing two‑child setups; and. Pronto is only 2.6 kg heavier in comparison with a single seat configuration
Pronto is 28.6 cm longer which sounds significant, but has significant benefits. The extra length creates a larger internal cabin, more room for growth, more toys, and more comfort. It means that when two children are using the stroller, there is sufficient room for multiple children.
At 68 cm, Pronto is only 2.7 cm wider than the V3, still well under the standard 82 cm Australian doorway clearance.
At 115 cm from handlebar to floor, Pronto offers more flexibility than traditional prams. The taller design creates extra clearance so even the tallest parents can walk comfortably without kicking the undercarriage a common frustration with many strollers. At the same time, the adjustable telescopic handle ensures a perfect fit for shorter parents too, making it a stroller that truly adapts to every family.
You’ve seen the stats we’re really not any bigger than the prams you already know. The difference is in how the space is used. Traditional strollers dedicate the lower section to a mesh shopping basket, while our wagon design transforms that same footprint into an enclosed cabin that children love.
By reimagining the space, we’ve created something more engaging for kids and ultimately a smarter long-term investment for families.
A low-profile wagon stroller keeps everything safely contained, giving children a secure 360° view of their surroundings without the frustration of toys or snacks constantly falling out. Unlike traditional strollers where the childs seat is higher from the ground and items can tumble to the ground, the enclosed design means belongings stay inside the cabin. This not only reduces stress for parents but also enhances the child’s experience, making the ride feel like their own safe little space.
Pronto isn’t just about looking different, it completely redefines how families move through the world. Our generous internal cabin allows for a larger weight capacity and often multiple children, while features like independent entry and exit mean kids can climb in and out without constant lifting. Parents also value the sheer practicality of Pronto and love the optional accessories like snack trays, weather covers, and parent consoles that make it easy to customize the space into what feels like a home on wheels.
Carrying the footprint of a traditional pram, but reimagined as a roomier, more practical option, Pronto is cleverly designed to fit through standard doorways and offers a quick-fold mechanism for transport and storage. Did you know we can squeeze into the boot space of a suzuki swift?
The result is a stroller that doesn’t just carry children; it carries the whole rhythm of family life, blending safety, practicality, and a little spark of imagination that grows with your family.
At $1,599, Pronto is an investment that pays for itself over time. Spread across its 9-year age limit, that’s just $177.66 per year for a stroller that grows with your family. And when your little ones no longer need a seat, you can simply remove the canopy and seats to repurpose it as a wagon perfect for beach trips, market days, or carrying gear on family outings.
Sleep & safety: Strollers are not for unsupervised sleep
Going back through our conversation, I developed a serious concern after speaking with expecting parents in Melbourne, which was that parents see the stroller as a sleep option. It’s important to clarify: no stroller bassinet is approved for safe, unsupervised sleep. Strollers are designed for transport, not as primary sleep environments.
Prams/strollers are suitable only for short, supervised naps. For proper rest, babies must be transferred into a crib.
Pram bassinets are narrower, and there is suffocation risk if a baby’s nose presses against the sides. On this note, there is a benefit of Pronto as our bassinet is larger, it provides more space and airflow, but supervision is still absolutely essential.
Our bassinet is larger than normal, and similar to a crib bassinet in size, meaning it can fit products like snuggle pillows or infant loungers, these can add a sense of security, though safe sleep guidelines must always be followed.
I chose snuggle me as our lounger and I found it was a suitable option for our family.

Lifetime warranty
In Australia, consumer law already protects you by guaranteeing that products must be of acceptable quality and fit for purpose. That makes most standard warranties feel redundant, they’re often just a rebrand of your existing rights, designed to make you think you’re getting more than you actually are. At Pronto, we prefer to be transparent. Instead of hiding behind a one-year promise, we’ve introduced a lifetime warranty. It covers the core frame and mechanical integrity of your stroller, so you can trust that your investment is built to last. By aligning with consumer rights and going beyond them, we deliver long-term value: one stroller, no shortcuts, no costly replacements.
We’re equal in weight class, competitive in features, and ahead in load capacity and flexibility. With our wagon‑inspired design, clear sleep safety guidance, modern features, and a lifetime warranty, Pronto offers a stroller that truly grows with your family.
Questions and Answers
1. Is Pronto “too big” for daily use or small homes/cars?
Not at all. Pronto sits in the same weight and width class as Australia’s best-selling strollers, so it fits through standard doorways and into car boots (even a Suzuki Swift!). What changes is how the space is used instead of a mesh basket underneath, you get a roomy enclosed cabin that gives children more comfort and parents more practicality.
2. What does “low-profile design” actually mean, and why is it good?
Low-profile means the child’s cabin sits lower, keeping everything contained while giving kids a safe 360° view. Unlike taller prams where toys and snacks often fall out, everything stays inside. The child can view the world at their level. It's appealing to child's imagination.
3. How important are size and weight in choosing a stroller?
They’re key to everyday usability. A stroller that’s too heavy or awkward won’t fit easily into your lifestyle. If you go to big, you might get tired of carrying it in and out of the car, if you go to small, you might realise the stroller has less uses and is less practical for a day out. Pronto’s dimensions are comparable to top single strollers but with the bonus of extra length that translates into a larger cabin, more comfort, and more space for growing families.
4. Can a stroller be used from newborns, and when is it safe?
Yes as long as it offers a fully flat bassinet or seat mode. Pronto’s built-in bassinet means you don’t need extra attachments. But no stroller bassinet is approved for unsupervised sleep, you must remember to transfer your child to safe crib for long periods or sleep, or anytime you plan on leaving your baby unsupervised. Strollers are for transport and short, supervised naps. For proper rest, babies must always be transferred into a crib.
5. What are useful features to look for in a stroller if I want long-term value?
When shopping for a stroller, look for features that will truly grow with your family: an all-terrain frame, removable wheels for easy cleaning, a large UPF 50+ canopy, a compact fold (with seats still attached), ergonomic seating, and a solid braking system. It’s also important to check that toddler seats have a higher weight limit, so you’re not forced to upgrade too soon. From my own experience, one of the most overlooked features is a proper footrest too often I see little legs dangling, which isn’t comfortable or supportive. Strollers aren’t designed for sleep; they’re designed for safe transport, and good ergonomic seating helps support healthy posture and development. Pronto delivers on this with 90-degree seating and a supportive footwell so your child’s legs never dangle. They can stretch out flat in bassinet mode, or sit with legs bent at the perfect angle ideal for snacking, resting, and longer outings. It means you can be sure that they are sitting upright for feeding lowering the risk of choking.
6. Does Pronto have a warranty?
In Australia, your consumer rights already guarantee acceptable quality and fitness for purpose. That makes many “12-month warranties” redundant. At Pronto, we prefer transparency so instead of fluffy promises, we offer a lifetime warranty on the core frame and mechanics. It’s our way of backing the durability of your investment, long after the marketing period ends.
7. What safety concerns should I watch out for when shopping for prams or wagons?
Check for a secure five-point harness, reliable brakes, and a stable frame. Good ventilation and a safe enclosed design reduce risks, while certification to Australian standards (AS/NZS 2088) ensures compliance. Pronto ticks every box from its shock-absorbing suspension to reflective night belt helping parents feel confident on every outing.
8. How does the height of the handlebar affect parents?
A lot more than most people realise. Tall parents often kick the undercarriage of traditional prams, which is uncomfortable and frustrating. Pronto solves this with a higher handlebar and telescopic adjustability, so tall parents can stride naturally, and shorter parents can bring the handle down to the perfect height. Don't worry we haven't forgotten those on the shorter side, our handlebar is the perfect size in the lower setting for shorter Mums and Dads. One stroller, comfortable for everyone.
9. Will removing seats/canopies to use it as a wagon reduce safety or value?
Not at all. Pronto is designed to adapt. When your kids outgrow sitting, you can remove the seats and canopy to use it as a wagon perfect for market days, beach trips, or carrying gear. The core frame and mechanics remain strong, so you’re not losing safety or durability just gaining flexibility.
10. How much should a good stroller cost vs what you get for your money?
A stroller is one of the most important investments you’ll make as a parent. At $1,599, Pronto works out to just $177 per year over its 9-year age limit. Add in the fact that it can carry multiple children, adapts as your family grows, and comes with a lifetime warranty, and it becomes a stroller that’s built to last far longer than the typical “buy and replace” cycle.
